New to Knitting
I've just finished my first knitting project!
After taking the weaving course, I decided to pick up another hobby, because why not?! I popped into Holland Road Yarn Company and the lady there was very kind and help me get started with a knitting project - a classic beanie hat! I've used a beautiful soft mustard wool by Brooklyn Tweed and it was actually very nice to knit with!
Not bad effort, I'm looking forward to trying some more complex projects - I'm thinking a beautiful shawl will do nicely!
I've also discovered that Newtown House has a beautiful selection of yarns and other bits and pieces so it's going to be a favourite place to visit I think.
I am also looking forward to trying some of the gorgeous yarn I just got from Union Fibre
