Plants and Gardens
On a trip to the garden center, I settled on some succulents to bring home with me to replant in my pots. While I haven't had much luck with the ferns I'd gotten earlier (aphids ravaged them within days), I am hopeful that these succulents will be easier to keep alive. I find adding a little gravel and pumice on the surface makes the whole thing look nicer and more finished than bare bark. I am considering getting an outdoor bonsai tree as well, now that I have managed to keep my indoor one alive for a year (a great success!)
The dilemma of how to address our outdoor area still presents a challenge. I am finding it difficult to make the best use of our little space. More on this next time...
